Gilda villa is one of the twelve units in the Sadaf villa complex. With its fluid and modern form, it defines an independent and distinct identity. While remaining aligned with overall language of development, the villa asserts a bold and dynamic presence within the architectural fabric of the site.
The main volume is shaped by a composition of soft surfaces and carefully controlled edges, forms defined by curved lines and rounded corners that convey a sense of dynamism and lightness to the architecture. The contrast between expansive transparent surfaces and solid white walls with dark frames creates a balanced interplay between openness and solidity, between introversion and extroversion This design perspective not only enhances the overall aesthetic but also allows natural light to penetrate deep into the interior and establishing a vibrant connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding environment.
As with the other units in the complex, the material selection focuses on the use of natural and high-quality elements. The composition of stone, smooth white surfaces, dark metal frames and lush vegetation creates a space that is simple, sustainable and balanced. This blend of simplicity and refinement conveys a sense of calm and dignity to the overall environment. Natural lighting and strategic play of shadows are carefully planned to enhance the visual and spatial quality of the interior while fostering a purposeful and harmonious connection between the indoor areas and surrounding landscape.
The villa is organized across three independent yet interconnected levels, where public, private and recreational spaces are arranged with precision and functional flexibility. The basement is designated as a tranquil zone for rest and gatherings, featuring swimming pool, jacuzzi, an informal lounge equipped with refreshments, and facilities. The ground floor, with its open and light-filled plan, accommodates the main entrance, living room, kitchen and a family lounge. A separate guest suite Is also provided to ensure main residents is preserved. On the first floor, three bedrooms -each with an en-suite bathroom- offer quiet, self-contained spaces for family members. Additionally, a void adjacent to the living room creates a visual and vertical connection between the levels, enhancing the overall sense of spatial continuity.
Special attention to the quality of outdor spases is another key aspect of this villa”s design. Terraces and balconies with expansive views provide continueous access to open air and encourage ongoing interaction with nature. A sunken sitting area in the courtyard, featuring a central fire pit, offers an inviting sitting for group gatherings, relaxation and informal social intractions. This persice and thoughtful design strikes an intelligent balance between functional needs, comfort, and the spatial experience of rensidents.
