Qom Velayat Park is designed as the largest thematic park in the city, aiming to create a creative, dynamic, and multifunctional space for both residents and domestic and international tourists. In addition to preserving the existing valuable vegetation, the park introduces new natural elements and landscaped areas to provide a vibrant and diverse environment that meets the needs of different groups, from children and families to the elderly. The park’s creative design inspired by the identity of Qom, has established a prominent position in the field of creative tourism, offering a safe, lively, and engaging environment for leisure and recreational activities.

The park comprises a variety of thematic and engaging spaces, including an indoor play area, desert camp, forest park, roadside service facilities, music garden, Foodland, art garden, poetry garden, cinema complex, handicrafts garden, children’s traffic and creativity park, and an amusement park. The combination of recreational, cultural and educational spaces creates an environment not only for leisure but also for unique experiences, encouraging active participation of visitors in various activities.

The strategic location of the park has significantly enhanced its value. Its proximity to major facilities such as Qom International Exhibition, the Carpet Exhibition Hall, and the Mehr-o-Mah service complex, along with neighboring religious, cultural, and service-oriented landmarks, complimented by landscaped areas and playgrounds, makes it an important stop for travelers. In addition, the adjacency to industrial zones, a solar power plant, fish ponds, the city’s wastewater treatment facility, and high level of underground water has created favorable conditions for establishing and strengthening vegetation. Easy access to main roads, the high-speed railway station, the city railway, universities, and industrial towns further reinforces the park’s role as a communication and economic hub. Moreover, its proximity to natural attractions such as Behesht-e- Masoumeh Wetland and Howz-e-Soltan Lake, provides significant potential for attracting eco-tourists and supporting sustainable tourism development.

Given the strategic location of the city of Qom as a religious, scientific, and service hub, and the annual attendance of millions of worshipers, Velayat Park represents a unique opportunity to enhance the quality of life for residents, extend the duration of tourists’ stays, and create an impressive, multifunctional public space of national significance.
